The Lyric by Cyrus Audio is a feature filled one box music solution. Designer Systems were involved with the development of the front panel capacitive touch, backlighting and near-field proximity systems.

Designer Systems developed the hardware and embedded software which includes the following features:

  • PIC18 Microcontroller based system with I2C interface to main system.
  • Six (6) point capacitive touch buttons and sliders.
  • Full PWM control of button backlight and ON/OFF button backlight colour.
  • Ambient light level measurement.
  • Near-field modulated Infrared proximity detection system.
