The Pawtrack VII small animal tracking collar, is the seventh generation product for the tracking of small domestic cats using the Global Positioning System (GPSGLONASS/Galileo) and GSM/LTE and WiFI wireless networks. This new generation product is much smaller, lighter and features over-air softwaqre update, Bluetooth hot spot lost collar location and has a replaceable battery with integral micro-USB charging and fast battery chnages.

Designer Systems developed the device hardware and software which includes the following features:

  • Ultra low power WiFi/Bluetooth Xtensa LX6 dual core processor design.
  • Cylyndrical Lithium-Ion battery with integral micro-USB charging point and managed discharge control and over-air monitoring.
  • GPS/GLONASS/Galileo positioning with EPO download first fix and high positional accuracy.
  • Multiple operational modes to extend battery life.
  • Always on Thingstream data connection or WiFi for GPS position log retrieval.
  • Movement detection provides automatic shutdown during animal rest/sleep periods.
  • Low power WiFI home detection and WiFI software updates.
  • Bluetooth hotspot lost detection.
  • Ultra light weight design, now even lighter and smaller.
