The WiREMS Smart is a retrofit control designed to reduce the running costs and carbon output of air conditioners by turning them off once the room is vacated.
Additional savings can be made by limiting the adjustable temperature, by adding sensors to windows and doors that turn the air conditioner off if either have been
left open or by including the wireless relay module which turns off an additional power source as well as the air conditioning once the occupants have departed.
The touch screen allows for the simple programming of the various energy saving features so that the control can be used as a standalone room energy management device.
Alternatively, by connecting the device to the WiREMS Smart Cloud app (subscription required), users can remotely adjust temperature settings, turn air conditioners on
and off and monitor room climate conditions. Users can also interrogate each Smart control individually to extract data relating to energy usage, carbon emissions, running costs
and occupancy status as well as, receive alarms and alerts and compare historical data, all displayed on an easy to navigate custom designed desktop.
